In a world where ghosts are real, one company is determined to monetize them.
Set in a surreal reflection of modern-day America, Ghostodial: Cleaning Services asks the question, if ghosts really existed how would they be exploited? The answer: a company that tracks down long-deceased custodial staff who continue to clean in the afterlife, and ‘installs’ them in customers homes (for a fee, of course).
The film explores ideas of economic expansion at the sake of autonomy, and the ever-warring relationship of convenience and injustice. The film also touches upon the experience of the Irish indentured servants of the 17th century.
